Leadership

Vicar: The Rev. Robert Alltop.  Father Bob joined the leadership team at Nativity in May 2019. Before this, he served at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Detroit from 2012 to 2019. Bob, and his wife Beth, have been blessed with thirty years together, and they delight in their two sons and a daughter. Keeping watchful eyes over the family is a devoted Australian shepherd, as well as a cat to keep them on their toes. Along with being a priest, Bob works as an economist with a global accounting firm.

The Rev. Carolynn Johnson- Deacon: Carolynn joined in 2017 and soon became an integral part of life at Nativity. After a career as a Social Worker for the State of Michigan working on foster care, delinquency and, at times, adoption, she is now active in spiritual and healing prayer, service and evangelism in the Episcopal Church.
